Do you love to read but just don’t read as much as you’d like to?
Work, kids, chores, and other obligations take precedence.
Reading asks that we stop. Sit. Read or listen to the words. Reflect. Learn.
If the goodness of a book just hasn’t been made a priority in your life lately, we’ve got a timely opportunity for you:
VITALITY READERS
This is a new community that values the importance of reading in our culture and wants to come together in this need of taking time to invest in ourselves and our world. We’re thrilled so many are reaching out with interest!
Here’s how it works. As a member, you:
- Commit to reading one VITALITY book per season
- Send us a quick photo of you reading the book or the spot where you like to read
- Post a book review on Amazon and/or GoodReads
- Receive an invitation to our quarterly/seasonal online experience with our bestselling author (session recorded and mailed out for those who can’t make it live)
Krista Powers will be our first speaker (Autumn) on Saturday, Oct 17 from 1:00 – 2:30pm. The session will be online and you can join using a zoom link. We will be discussing her book, Good Grief.
On Oct 17…
“What if our understanding of grief could be bigger than the familiar five stages? Join bestselling author Krista Powers for an engaging exploration of grief as a natural part of life’s transitions, from loss and illness to changing relationships, identities, and dreams. Through personal stories, reflection, and an introduction to The 5 Powers of Grief, discover a fresh perspective that may help you understand your own grief differently…and see possibilities for growth within it.”
VITALITY Readers requires just enough commitment from you – not so much that you worry you won’t be able to keep up. Even just a couple of minutes of reading a day is a great start!
