I love going for walks this time of year…discovering each day what has bloomed, what has unfurled from the Earth.
The irises up the street bloomed on Sunday — about a month earlier than in years past.
In any case, I’m grateful for the irises on my walks, whenever they are ready. Some days those walks feel tight, uncomfortable, painful. Maybe I slept in a weird position or tweaked something unhappily at the gym or in the garden.
Thankfully Feldenkrais’ Awareness Through Movement® and Bones for Life® offer such helpful things:
- short things I can do in the middle of a walk when some pain comes out of nowhere — easy strategies to get me out of pain and ready to smell more flowers
- things I can do right out of bed to get me moving gently and easily
- things I can do to target injuries in ways my yoga and tai chi cannot
- simple and gentle things I can do to prevent injuries
So many things!
I’m offering two FREE opportunities to check out if Feldenkrais or Bones for Life could be helpful for you:
> TOMORROW/Thursday at 3:50pm EDT, I’m leading an online class in chairs through the Natural Healing Solutions Summit. Click here to register!
> Wednesday, April 29 at 12 noon, I’m leading an online class where participants rest on their backs, either on the floor or on their bed. Click here for details and to register!
There are flowers to smell and beauties to encounter, outside, in all of life. Get back to doing the things you want to do, the life you desire for yourself. Discover how Awareness Through Movement and Bones for Life can help!
