Feldenkrais’ way of listening and sensing in movement really can make life that much easier — and in pain-free ways!

I had to be foolish and make fun of my mom for years for doing these silly little movements in Feldenkrais’ Awareness Through Movement® and in Bones for Life®…but when I tried them for myself — WHOA! — I was out of pain in minutes.

How could something be so effective?

Feldenkrais based his movement sequences on developmental patterns that we all used something of to figure out how to lift our heavy heads as babies, how to sit up and crawl and climb and stand up on one’s own, how to risk taking a step, how to walk and run, on and on and on.

Return to those earliest ‘foundations’ of your nervous system and mine and do it in gentle ways and we can upgrade all the complex things we do as adults that are built on those earliest baby moves.
