The leaves always remind me to get moving….
Yes, that it’s this late in the year already and a lot of my hopes for the year might need a little more umpfff and attention to come together before we turn the page on the annual calendar.
But these leaves remind me of more than that.
What wasn’t even there on the tree ten months ago only a month later unfurled in a vibrant greenery and provided shelter and lovely noise in the wind…and now that once-green leaf takes on new color and falls to the ground and browns and, one day, becomes earth again.
The process is rich with wonder.
And it does get me moving.
And you?
We have two wonder-rich opportunities this week to appreciate the leaves and change and what meets the eye/senses…

This session will include 3-4 works of art and journal prompts that will invite us to celebrate the saints in our lives and the love of our ancestors. Traditionally these celebrations are Christian and are part of the beautiful Latin American culture, but Kathy will be including works of art from various traditions allowing us to meditate together on personal and universal spiritual experiences. You are welcome to bring pictures of family or friends to place on an ofrenda for our evening.
What might you discover today and tomorrow that gets you moving, into action?
