I’ve been discovering — again and again — just how important it is to see things and sense things in new ways, in different ways.
In an infinite world, it’s of course impossible to see or sense everything. Maybe in some ecstatic flash, sure, we might get a glimpse or feeling of the vastness of the universe. But to take it all in all the time is something only for the Divine.
In a world that seems divided, fractured, on this issue or that, how important it is to be able to freely admit I don”t and can’t understand everything. And with a little curiosity in this openness, we just might grow to learn a little more, to see and sense a little more of what used to be unknown to us.
We have three opportunities coming soon to give us new ways to see or sense a larger world:
Kathy Stockman’s Visio Divina for the Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos
Wed, Oct 29 (6:30 – 8:30pm).
$20 + RSVP by replaying to this email
This session will include 3-4 works of art and journal prompts that will invite us to celebrate the saints in our lives and the love of our ancestors. Traditionally these celebrations are Christian and are part of the beautiful Latin American culture, but Kathy will be including works of art from various traditions allowing us to meditate together on personal and universal spiritual experiences. You are welcome to bring pictures of family or friends to place on an ofrenda for our evening.
No Average Joseph public reading
Stay tuned! I had hoped to have a little party today to let Joseph, the character from my new book/play, dance and sing a bit and am postponing today’s opportunity for when I can recruit a few actor-friends for a public reading of the play.
Bones for Life®
And in case you missed our 3 live Bones for Life sessions this week, you can still catch the free replays:

Seeing and sensing a larger world of possibilities – how delightful!
