There’s power and possibility in wondering…and wandering. I’ve always been curious about the overlap of these words in their meanings. “Wander” has origins in our primal human language, Proto-Indo-European — “to turn or wind or weave.” As humans do. As wind and water do too.
Etymologically speaking, “wonder” came much later. But one has to wonder if “wonder” simply is a wonderful or wonder-filled result of “wander.” The human journey is real….
What a wonderful beginning to our Spiritual Exercises circle last week — circle is open this week too.
And this week, we welcome back Kathy Stockman for Visio Divina…an opportunity to slow down, slowly regard three paintings, journal/contemplate, and talk with one another about what we notice and discover….this Thursday night, July 31, from 6:30 – 8:30pm at VITALITY. $20 requested donation, all welcome with an RSVP to me at 513.300.5174, or reply to this email.
Tomorrow and Tuesday begin our new movement series too…big wonder-filled week!

As we all well know, there’s a lot of change in the wind these days.
We can sit on our hands and hope things change in a way that pleases us — and that can be wonderful in its own way. But there’s something delightful in doing something new, whether that’s looking at a classic old painting with new eyes, whether that’s moving in some new way that gets us out of nagging pain and gives us hope for life, whether that’s sitting with friends in the Spiritual Exercises circle and wondering about life together.
Wander, be filled with wonder and delight!
