Ecstasy is something we knew so well as infants….
The way the light dazzles on the wall.
The taste and smell — even across the room — of nourishment.
Our wiggly fingers and toes.
The sounds our loved ones make.
Sure, being an infant is hard work too — figuring out how to move on a planet that continually and constantly pushes us down, forces us to squirm and roll and push and press and creep and crawl and climb until we are upright on our own and building bones upon which to stand and walk. One day.
How quickly, though, we can forget that delicious ecstasy and bulldoze our way toward our agenda, our attempts to control one’s life and, sadly, sometimes others’ lives too.
Sometimes a story forms us and gets in the way — a story we inherit and tell ourselves and compulsively enact, often without even knowing.
As you know, our Systemic Constellations & Bones for Life opportunities help us to remember we can choose well — better stories, easier ways to sit and stand, more pleasurable and self-determined ways to be that also protect other people’s self-determination as well.
Knowing we have options can make all the difference.
