And so we begin a new label for publishing and conversation and creativity to cultivate an appreciation of our human roots and humanity’s deepest desires for growth and transformation. We have been inspired by the peace-seekers of the near-past who have made their growing ideas known through small donation-based publications . . . Dorothy Day & Peter Maurin through The Catholic Worker, Thomas Merton through Monk’s Pond, and yogis like Sivanada and Yogananda.

VITALITY buzz . . . short 20 page versions of a forthcoming book created by a local printshop, a version that is a small sample of the whole book . . . with the $10 donation per copy used to raise the funds needed to pay for both the professional-print version of the whole book and the e-book layout. A very limited run of buzz copies will be available for donation. Each copy is essentially a way to create "buzz" about the book before the entire copy is available. Donations for buzz copies raise the money needed for publishing the full VITALITY book.  VITALITY blog posts also help to create buzz about VITALITY and about all that is possible with human life.

VITALITY books . . . full, professionally laid-out and printed books of 100+ pages, usually laid out and published by DogEar Press who published VITALITY’s A New Setting of Ignatius' Spiritual Exercises (2015). Sale of these VITALITY books fund VITALITY’s ministry.

When you purchase a buzz of a forthcoming book and write a short review of the buzz on Facebook (tag the author and/or VITALITY Cincinnati) or on Amazon, you will receive a $5 discount off the purchase price of the VITALITY book once it is available in print-format.

The Spiritual Exercises were written by Ignatius Loyola during the sixteenth century during his traumatic recovery from war-wounds, a wild life of family trauma and personal partying.  Through VITALITY’s new setting, we have modernized Ignatius’ prompts and attempted to create invitations that welcome people of all faiths and no faith, of high school students through grandparents, of people who actively meditate/reflect and people who are just beginning.  This 175 page book can be used to gently lead yourself or a small group through this modernized, diverse life-experience, invitation-based setting of the Spiritual Exercises . . . to more readily discover…
